To help improve McDonald’s app performance globally
Our analysis showed that McDonald’s faced two major problems: unofficial apps stealing their market share and official apps appearing in the wrong market. To combat this we conducted comprehensive analysis of all official apps across global stores, identifying problem apps and providing a comprehensive geo-fencing strategy by combining download data with our diaspora and frequent traveller metrics. We also compiled by-country lists of unofficial ‘piggybacker’ apps.
