Our content data analysts reviewed emerging trends, keyword opportunities and content performance across platforms to deduce a theme which would have resonance with Merrell’s core demographic and also produce search coverage opportunities. Working alongside internal marketing teams, the decision was made to tackle ‘Extreme Treks.’
Our digital PR team sourced 15 key online influencers and approached them to contribute information on the world’s most extreme treks. These contributions were utilized by our copywriting team to create a guide featuring 40 extreme treks. Our designers and developers then turned this into a stunning interactive map, creating an evergreen asset for the Merrell site.
