We are delighted to announce that SearchStar have been selected as Google Analytics Certified Partners. This makes us the only official Google Analytics Partner in Bath, Bristol and the South West, another demonstration of our fantastic relationship with Google.
Providing Google Analytics consultancy, support and training is an essential part of doing a great job for our clients, so towards the end of 2015 we applied to become official Google Analytics Certified Partners.
The process is rigorous - there are only 32 certified agencies within the UK - and we had to demonstrate that we had the necessary technical skills, analytical ability and commercial awareness to be part of the Google Analytics Certified Partners scheme.
What does being a Google Analytics Certified Partner really mean?
Being a part of this specialist community means that SearchStar will continue to improve our Google Analytics offering. We will be the first to know about product development, new solutions as well as expert training to ensure that our services remain at the forefront.
What kind of work do you do?
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation. One of our clients had very limited web analytics set up, so we set up the latest version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) alongside Google Tag Manager so they could efficiently and easily manage other third party tags.
Google Analytics health check. This client already had Google Analytics in place, but wasn’t confident in the numbers that were being reported. We ran a health check, going through the all the elements of Analytics in turn, identifying the problems, as well as making recommendations for a more complex and insightful reporting setup.
Custom Analytics solutions. Sometimes the brief doesn’t have an immediately obvious solution. One client recently had already spoken to several third parties who tried and failed to address the Google Analytics problem they faced - within their payment funnel - to the extent that they’d been told what they wanted was impossible. We successfully designed and implemented a sophisticated technical solution which was rolled out across their 10 other global brands.
Bespoke training. We can tailor training exactly to your business requirements. For example, after getting a brief from one client we created a bespoke training session to resolve specific issues they faced with reporting. With stakeholders from multiple departments on the course, the training session had to be accessible and useful to all attendees. After the course, we followed up with some post-training support to ensure the training was put into action to deliver on the original objectives.
Training sessions for over 50 businesses. Over the last three years we have run training courses aimed at beginners and intermediate users to help everyone make the most of the data they have to make informed business decisions. You can find out more about our courses here.
